The following restrictions must be observed when forming a team:

  • Teams are formed within one club.
  • Runners not belonging to any club may join interest groups to form their own team.
  • Small clubs are allowed to participate with a joint team, combining participants from no more than 2 clubs or attracting non-club runners.
  • If representatives of a specific participant group are not registered in the club (according to the national orienteering database), the club has the right to attract representatives of the respective group from other clubs or non-club runners.
  • Participants from large clubs may combine with participants from another club only if at least one full team with No. 1 is submitted from these clubs in the registration system. The remaining club representatives may join together, also attracting non-club runners.
  • Cases of uncertainty will be reviewed by the event organizers.
  • At least 3 women and no more than 4 participants from MW20-35 groups per team.
  • Leg 1 is run by a woman; for the remaining legs, there are no group restrictions for distributing participants across legs. Teams that do not have a participant from the women’s group running the first leg, will start as non competitive team.
